Immortal Call Redesign

This redesign started out very basic, and way more simple then what you hear here. I’ve talked to a great guy by the name of Dominic Downing that works for Grinding Gear Games (Creators of Path of Exiles). He really pushed me to get the redesign is now. One of the main things that he shared with me was to really make sure the player knows what the spell does by just hearing it. So adding the armor elecements really put it together in the end, where as before it sounded like it could be used for any generic spell.

Most of the sounds in this redesign are a lot metal hits manipulated in various ways, pitch shifting, reverb 100% wet for interesting textures and shiny elements. frequency shifting to introduce new frequencies, distortion, ext.

for the main tonal element, it started out as a big chain being dragged on cement. Adding an interesting effect process really changed it to a completely new sound.
